FAQs

FENGQS F7 Pro E-Bike Recall – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Why is FENGQS recalling certain F7 Pro E-Bikes?

A: We are voluntarily recalling certain FENGQS F7 Pro E-Bikes due to a potential safety hazard. We have found that a batch of 20 battery packs was defective, may overheat, smoke, or catch fire during normal use and charging. The defective battery packs were mixed in a shipment of 105 units. We are recalling all of the potentially affected units to ensure consumer safety.

Q: How can I receive a refund?

A: You should send the following three items to our recall team:

1. A screenshot of your original order, clearly showing the order number and purchase date.

2.  A photo of the battery label on your F7 Pro e-bike, showing the capacity (52V 21.5Ah) and the production date (April 21, 2024). Use a permanent marker to write your name, the date, and “recalled” on the battery pack.

3.  State that you have disposed of the battery in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Please send all three items to recall@fengqs.work . After we verify your information, we will proceed with a refund. If you have questions about whether you qualify for the recall, contact us at recall@fengqs.work before disposing of your battery.

Q: What if I purchased my FENGQS e-bike after December 2024?

A: This recall only applies to F7-Pro model e-bikes sold between May and December 2024 with the specific 52V 21.5Ah battery pack manufactured on April 21, 2024. Products sold after that period are not affected. Other models are not affected.

Q: I purchased my e-bike between May and December 2024, but the battery was not manufactured on April 21, 2024. Is my product still affected?

A: No. The recall only applies to e-bikes that include a 52V 21.5Ah battery pack manufactured specifically on April 21, 2024. If your battery shows a different production date, it is not affected by this recall and can continue to be used safely.

Q: How do I dispose of the battery and the product?

A: Do not throw the battery or the e-bike in the trash or regular recycling bins.
Follow these disposal steps:

· Contact your local Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Center to confirm they accept recalled lithium-ion batteries.

· If accepted, take the battery (and e-bike, if necessary) to the center.

· If not accepted, contact your municipality for alternative safe disposal options.

Q: My product appears to function normally. Can I continue to use it?

A: No. Even if your e-bike appears to function normally, if it is covered by this recall, please stop using it immediately and follow the recall instructions provided.
